                       Cruises & Events
The Potomac operates live-narrated two-hour and three-hour San Francisco Bay public cruises from June through Veteran's Day in November. Emphasis is placed on the history of the Bay Area & surrounding landmarks and the effect FDR’s administration had upon the Bay Area. The three-hour cruises have a themed narration and include a gourmet boxed-lunch. Guests may watch a 15-minute video in the Visitor Center prior to the cruise. The video provides a glimpse of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s use of the Potomac, emphasizes the impact of his administration on the country. and tells the Potomac restoration story. While on board, guests may elect to take a docent led tour or tour the Potomac on their own. Coffee, tea and water are available.
