| AC Transit The bus system in the East Bay is excellent and connections from the BART stations at West Oakland and 12th Street City Center will easily take you to Jack London Square. |
| BART Trains from all East Bay directions stop at the West Oakland Station. This station is 12 blocks from Jack London Square and the Potomac. Taxis and bus transportation is readily available. Trains also stop at the 12th Street City Center station and that is a easy 10 Block walk to Jack London Square. Buses are also frequent from this station. |
| Amtrak The Jack London Square/Oakland station fro Amtrak is a short five block walk to the USS Potomac. |
| The Ferry The Alameda Oakland Ferry from San Francisco docks right next to the Potomac at the foot of Clay Street. The Ferry runs on a regular and convenient schedule. |
